Zehra Parvez

Z. Fareen Parvez is an associate professor and graduate program director at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her current research looks at predatory lending and its relationship to other forms of exploitation in low-income neighborhoods in India. Her dissertation is a comparative ethnographic study of Islamic revival movements in Lyon, France, and Hyderabad, India.
