Lawrence Rubin is an associate professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology, an associate fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, a Templeton Fellow in national security at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and a Fellow in the Project on Sectarianism and De-Sectarianism. His research interests include Middle East politics and international security with a specific focus on intra-regional relations, religion and politics, nuclear proliferation, and emerging technologies. His dissertation is on threat perception and foreign policy in the Middle East.
