Dr Katherine Kenny is an early career researcher in the Centre for Social Research in Health at the University of New South Wales Sydney. Her research interests include health and illness, biopolitics, the new materialisms, the politics of knowledge production and the lived experience of illness, wellness and care. Her dissertation project concerns the development of the world’s first legally binding public health treaty: the World Health Organization’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC).
