Jason Klocek is an Assistant Professor in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham and a Faculty Affiliate of the University of Notre Dame’s Center for the Study of Religion and Society. His research and teaching interests primarily lie at the intersection of political violence and repression, with particular attention to the role of religion. His dissertation investigates how the religious identity of rebel groups influences the strategic decision making of counterinsurgent forces, with a focus on British operations during the early post-war period.
