Chad Nelson is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Brigham Young University. His research interests include the international effects of revolutions, ideology and international relations, the interaction between domestic instability and international politics, and the rise of great powers. His dissertation examines how revolutionary states can act as platforms and models in spreading a new regime type in the international system, and how other states respond to that possibility.
